MP: Constitution Day programmes being organised in govt offices, Universities

In Madhya Pradesh, Constitution Day programmes are being organised today in all Government offices and Universities to mark the 70th anniversary of the Constitution Adoption Day.

Chief Minister Kamal Nath will administer the oath to all the staff-officers at the State Secretariat today. State government is also starting a public awareness campaign in relation to the Constitution. AIR correspondent reports that the campaign will start from today and will be conducted till April 14, 2020, the birthday of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Various creative activities will be conducted during this period.

The main programme will be organized in Raj Bhavan today. The Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Judges of all the Benches and all District and Sessions Judges will also participate in the programme.

In a circular issued to the universities from Raj Bhavan, Governor Lalji Tandon has instructed to organize various programmes to strengthen the spirit of mutual brotherhood among students, mutual respect for regional linguistic diversities, commitment towards national integrity, dignity of women, protection of cultural heritage and development of scientific thinking.
