IFFI: Here is what you need to know

National award winner R. Parthiban wants to remake his 1999 film “Houseful'”, signing megastar Amitabh Bachchan to play one of the characters in the movie.

Parthiban was speaking at the ongoing IFFI in Goa.

Parthiban’s Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is being screened in this year’s ongoing IFFI at Goa. He says that he wants to work with Big B Amitabh Bachchan who too is a national award winner.

He says he considers Bachchan as his idol. He said he has 60 stories of various kinds. The stories which he claims have never been written before. He says if any producer agrees to take up the project then he would prefer doing those films in Hindi.

Parthiban’s first movie Pudhia Padhai had won the national award and its remake was made in Hindi which had Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Amrish Puri and Shilpa Shirodkar and the film’s name was Benaam Badshah.
