This year’s in- conversation sessions have been receiving a huge response from aspiring film makers and people from different sections of the society who are thronging to see the festival.
If there is an entertainment quotient in watching movies at ongoing IFFI in Goa, then attending in-conversation sessions with eminent personalities from Bollywood enables individuals to also get enlightened.
Anecdotes and sharing of ideas are part of such sessions and the film enthusiasts’ were witness to one such session, which saw the participation of noted film directors Rahul Rawail and Imtiaz Ali.
Rahul Rawail, who has given some of the biggest hits like 1985 Sunny Deol starrer ‘Arjun’, ‘Betaab’ and ‘Dakait’ had candid talks with Imtiaz Ali who too has given several blockbusters like ‘Jab We Met’, Highway, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and many more.
Emphasizing that the quality of films should be seen, Imtiaz Ali said, it will entice filmmakers to come up with better films. He said film-makers and audience alike should do away with the myopic attitude as they are not T-20 matches.
