IFFI showcasing remarkable films from across globe for over 10 thousand delegates

The ongoing International Film festival of India, IFFI is one of the biggest event of Goa. It is showcasing remarkable films from across the globe for over ten thousand delegates.

Apart from this, the festival is hosting Master Classes and In Conversation Sessions by the best in the field of cinematic arts.

AIR correspondent reports that more than 30 Master Classes and In Conversation Sessions will acquaint delegates with the nuances of cinema at the 50th IFFI. This is the first time that such a high number of these sessions will be held.

The festival will have sessions on all the traditional aspects of cinema like Acting, Direction and editing. Sessions on Music and Dance are also expected to draw large crowds.

An In Conversation Session on The Evolution of Indian Cinema in the Last 50 years was held today in the Maquinez Palace theatre at Panaji. The session was moderated by film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

In attendance were noted Hindi filmmaker Subhash Ghai, Malayalam Director-cinematographer Shaji N Karun.

English film critic and historian Derek Malcolm rounded off the list of eminent participants.

The Master Classes and In Conversation Sessions will truly be the silver lining at the Golden IFFI.
