North India is likely to get much-needed respite from the biting cold as India Meteorological Department has forecast a significant rise in temperature tomorrow.

IMD said, temperatures are likely to increase gradually by three to five degree Celsius in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh and northern Rajasthan during the next three days. Delhi recorded the minimum temperature at 7 degrees Celsius today.

This temperature is likely to remain during the next two-three days with the possibility of a fall of two to three degree Celsius thereafter.

Meanwhile, Poor visibility was observed in the National capital after Delhi received light rain in the morning due to the impact of Western Disturbances.

The IMD further predicted light rain with  thunderstorms to occur over northwest Delhi, parts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh today.
