UP govt presents supplementary budget

In Uttar Pradesh, the state government today presented the second supplementary budget in the ongoing winter session today amidst disruption and boycott by the opposition. Finance Minister of the state Rajesh Agrawal presented the second supplementary budget of the government which is around 8 thousand crores. 

The budget is aimed to provide the fund for ongoing development works related mainly to Kumbh 2019.  500 crores have been allocated for the development of the jevar international airport and Ayodhya Airport. For the better roads and public amenities, there is a provision of more than 300 crores.

The second day of the four-day-long winter session started with a strong protest from the opposition on the issue of law and order in the state. Raising slogans against the government, members of opposition came in well of the house, due to which lower house was adjourned three times
