UP CM Yogi Adityanath directs officials to prepare strategy for controlling covid in districts with over 100 new daily cases

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked to follow the message of the Prime Minister that is 'Jab Tak Dawai Nahin Tab Tak Dhilai Nahin' to deal with Corona pandemic in the state. He has asked officials to prepare a strategy for control on covid infection in the districts where its new cases are more than hundred daily.

He has also asked to ensure that covid protocol and social distancing must be followed at paddy procurement centres across the state.

State is witnessing a continuous decrease in the number of covid cases from the last 24 days. In this period there is a reduction of around 28000 covid patients in the state. Yesterday around 1 lakh 72000 covid samples were tested in state and till date more than 1 crore 18 lakh samples have been tested. In Last 24 hours 3348 new cases of covid infection were found in the state while 3417 persons were discharged from different hospitals after full recovery.

Around 3 lakh 90 thousand patients have been fully recovered in the state till date and the recovery percentage has further increased to 89.3 7%. State currently has 40019 active cases of Corona infection and half of them are in home isolation.
