Telangana govt allows resumption of film shootings and post-production

Telangana state government has given permission to resume film shooting and post-production in the state after almost three months of lockdown due to COVID -19 Pandemic.

However, Cinema Theatres and multiplexes will not be open as per the guidelines issued by the Centre. All guidelines and conditions will have to be followed to prevent spread of coronavirus. A Government Order is likely to be issued today.

The Chief Minister in a statement clarified that production and shootings can be resumed with limited staff while adhering to government guidelines issued from time to time. Post-production work has also been permitted with the same riders. Several prominent film personalities have met the Chief Minister recently and requested permission to restart the activities of the film sector in the state.
