Tamil Nadu: Covid Care Centres under Siddha Medical dept in Karur, Perambalur, Ariyalur districts effective amid pandemic; 87.6% patients discharged

The Covid Care Centres functioning under the Siddha Medical department in Karur, Perambalur and Ariyalur districts near Trichy have been able to function effectively in the backdrop of Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr Kamaraj, in charge of all the three centres revealed that  87.6% of patients who had been admitted with Covid 19 symptoms had been discharged last month. He pointed out that as against 1315 patients being admitted in these centres, 1152 patients have been discharged after successful treatment.

Dr Kamaraj reiterated that the Kabasura and Nilvempu herbal concoctions being prepared by the Siddha department go a long way in strengthening the immunity system of people in general.
