TMC leader Dinesh Trivedi and Subrata Bakshi file nominations for Rajya Sabha

In West Bengal, the State President of the ruling Trinamool Congress Subrata Bakshi and former Union Minister and senior Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi have filed nominations for Rajya Sabha elections from the state today. The elections for five Rajya Sabha seats from West Bengal will take place on 26th of this month. The ruling Trinamool Congress has already announced the names of four candidates for the Elections and is considering to contest for the fifth seat also. Opposition Congress and Left Parties will fight the elections jointly. They have decided to put up former Mayor of Kolkata and noted lawyer Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharjee as their joint candidate for the polls.
