Singapore reports 12 new coronavirus positive cases; toll rises to 212

Twelve new coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Singapore, taking the total number of the COVID-19 cases to 212 in the island-nation.

Officials said that nine out of the new patients were infected while travelling abroad.

Out of the total 212 cases in the country, 105 persons have fully recovered, while fourteen are in critical condition. Others are stable or showing signs of improvement.

From midnight tonight, Singapore will block entry or transit for visitors with travel history to Italy, France, Spain and Germany within the last 14 days.
