Campaign further intensifies for Haryana assembly elections

Campaign for assembly elections in Haryana has further intensified. BJP President Amit Shah launched a blistering attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his party for criticising Shastra Pooja performed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh during delivery of first Rafael in France. Kumari Selja of Congress accused government of failing to check unemployment in the state. Former Chief  Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda dared CM Manohar Lal to have public debate on farmers distress, unemployment and  law and order.

Meanwhile Election Commission team headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora will hold meetings with various stake holders to review poll preparations in Haryana. The Election Commission team arrived in Chandigarh on a two day visit to the state yesterday. AIR correspondent reports that chief election commissioner Sunil Arora along with his team had a meeting with representatives of political parties yesterday evening. The representatives of Congress told that they have raised the issue of advertising 330 polls in the Food Corporation of India after the polls were announced and demanded  issuing postal ballot papers to all the employees. Congress has also demanded deployment of paramilitary forces on sensitive booths and demanded to announce Rohtak,  Uklana, kiloi Kalka, Adampur, Panchkula Kaithal and Narayangarh  hypersensitive constituencies. Meanwhile Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Gurugram R S Rathore has released the partie's manifesto for the city promising removal of Kherki Daula toll plaza and solve Ganga water crisis.
