PM Modi congratulates Mauritius counterpart Jugnauth on victory in elections

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated his Mauritius counterpart Pravind Kumar Jugnauth on his victory in the recently concluded elections.

Mr Modi spoke to him on the phone today. During the conversation, Mr Modi reiterated India’s commitment to continuing the close and extensive cooperation between the two countries for mutual benefit.

Mr Modi stated that the people of Mauritius had reposed their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Jugnauth.

Mr Jugnauth thanked Prime Minister Modi and expressed a desire to take forward the special relationship with India and further strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
