Opposition parties trying to foment caste conflict, communal riots in state: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

@myogiadityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has accused opposition parties of trying to foment caste conflict and communal riots in the state. He said opposition parties are also attempting to hamper the ongoing development works in the state so that they can derive political mileage.

The Chief Minister has asked the police department  to handle with utmost sensitivity and act swiftly in cases related to crime against women and scheduled caste and scheduled tribes.

In an address to the BJP workers in Naugaon Sadat in Amroha district yesterday Chief Minister said that, certain political forces are unable to digest the development works being carried out by the state government and are adopting every trick to throw the state into a caste conflagration.

Meanwhile, Additional Chief Secretary Home of state, Avnish Kumar Awasthi and ADG Law & Order Prashant Kumar yesterday visited the family of another alleged gangrape victim in Balrampur district yesterday. A 22-year-old woman died after she was allegedly gangraped in the district on September 29.

After meeting Family Awanish Awasthi said that they have assured the family that stringent action will be taken against the guilty. This case will be tried in a fast-track court. If required, action will be taken under the National Security Act (NSA). Till now 4 accused have been arrested in this case.
