Oil prices traded a bit high amid hopes US, China can settle trade disputes

Global crude oil prices traded a bit high today amid hopes the United States and China could soon settle their trade disputes, although data from China stoked concerns over an economic slowdown that could dent demand for fuel. So Brent crude oil futures rose 22 cents to 61.06 dollars per barrel. US crude futures gained 7 cents to 53.86 dollars per barrel.
