New case of Novel Coronavirus reported from Kochi

A new case of Novel Coronavirus is reported from Kochi today after five cases were reported from Pathanamtitta earlier in Kerala. The affected three year old child reached Kochi on seventh of this month from Dubai-Kochi flight along with parents.
The child has been admitted to Medical College hospital at Kochi. The child’s parents are also being examined and their condition is stable, according to health sources. With this, the total number of confirmed Coronavirus case in Kerala rose to six.
AIR correspondent reports that three year old child who had returned from Italy on March 7th have tested postive today for covid 19 infection. Child along with the parents are in isolated medical care in kochi.
Authorities are strictly monitoring every individuals who had been in proximity with the positive tested individuals. Presently the condition of all the patients are stable including the child and all are in isolated medical care . More than 700 people are in observation in the State.Amid the situation Kerala is in high and people are urged to inform the authorities immediately if they had travelled to any corona virus-affected regions or showing any symptoms.
