Muslim quota is NCP-Cong's bid to put Sena in fix: Athawale

@RamdasAthawale
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale has said that the announcement of five per cent quota to Muslims in education in Maharashtra is Nationalist Congress Party and Congress' attempt to put ally Shivsena in a fix.

Speaking to reporters in Mumbai yesterday, the Minister said that the Shivsena had opposed to such reservation which are based on religion and reiterated that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who is also the President of that party, should walk out of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Government and reunite with the BJP.

Meanwhile, Mr Athawale welcomed the Maharashtra Government's move of withdrawing cases in Koregaon Bhima violence. He said that the process of withdrawal of cases was initiated by the previous BJP-led Government.

Speaking about Anti-CAA protests and violence in National capital, Mr Athwale alleged that the provocative speeches given by Congress leaders are responsible for the violence in Delhi. He also alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is in power in Delhi, is involved in the riots. He also accused the Congress of provoking Muslims to protest against the CAA.
