Manipur: Rally held in Bishnupur as part of celebration of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav

To mark the 75th years of India’s Independence, the nationwide celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav' was also commemorated in the State Manipur. The Mahotsav is a series of events and as part of the celebration, mass rally, tree plantation drive, cleanliness drives and other various events were held in Manipur today.

As part of the celebration, a rally was held in Bishnupur district of Manipur today. The rally was flagged off by SN Pradhan, ADG (NEZ) Guwahati & Imphal Region, PIB and ROB of Ministry of I&B along with the officials of State government at INA Martyrs’ Memorial Complex, Moirang.

On the other hand, a Legal Awareness Camp was also held in Noney district of Manipur today as part of the observance of 75th years of India’s Independence. The camp was organised by Manipur State Legal Services Authority.

A mass rally was also organised by the Tengnoupal district administration today which was attended by School students. Meanwhile, many events are undergoing in Manipur in connection to the 4th years of BJP led government in Manipur. The celebration under the title 4th year achievement of Citizens Centric Governance is being held on the occasion of fourth years ruling by N. Biren Singh led government in the State.
