Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray reviews COVID-19 situation in State

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray yesterday interacted with Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors via video conferencing to review the situation in the State. He said that every District Collector must ensure that restrictions in containment zones are followed strictly. He also said that the Corona virus must not be allowed to spread outside these zones in any circumstances.
 
The CM reiterated that while the migrant workers are travelling to and fro, the State machinery must be and take necessary precautions to prevent transmission of the virus. He also said that the monsoons may lead to a rise in cases of contagious and other diseases. These ailments will have to be treated along with Corona, and hence, it must be ensured that doctors in all districts, especially private medical practitioners, resume their practice.
