Madhya Pradesh Assembly unanimously approves Constitution (126th Amendment) Bill, 2019

In Madhya Pradesh, the Legislative Assembly today unanimously approved the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Sixth Amendment) Bill, 2019.

The bill provides to increase the reservation of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes in the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly for the next ten years.


The two-day special session of the House was adjourned sine die after the approval of this bill. This special session was called for the approval of this amendment bill.
