Kumbh in Prayag Raj transforms tourim scenario in state: UP CM

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has said that kumbh in prayag raj has transformed the scenario of tourism in state a lot and after completion of Kumbh, state will reach on top postion in the field of tourism.


Addressing a conference of media persons on Monday in lucknow CM Yogi said that successful organization of Kumbh is big step towards changing image of state along with boosting tourism and job creation. 


He further added that the decision to organize kumbh on a large scale manner with infrastructure development, brand positioning and beautification of the city prayag raj has helped a lot in attracting pilgrims from all over the world. 


Yogi said that this time record number of pilgrims have come to Kumbh to take a holy dip. He said the state government ensured the availability of clean water at sangam and because of this also the footfalls are increasing. 


According to the data released by administration more than 12.5 crore devotees have visited mela area from the beginning of Kumbh till yesterday evening and the numbers are increasing continuously.
