In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP wins two Rajya Sabha seats, while the Congress has bagged one seat. Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sumer Singh Solanki from BJP and Digvijaya from Congress have been elected for Rajya Sabha.

There are also reports of cancellation of two votes due to cross voting and wrong vote. Official announcement is awaited for further details. Overall 206 members voted because in the 230-member Madhya Pradesh assembly, 24 seats are currently vacant. The first vote was cast by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, followed by state Home Minister Narottam Mishra.

All the members were seen wearing masks and standing in a queue maintaining mandatory social distance in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The BJP fielded senior leader and former Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and former professor of a government college Sumer Singh Solanki for the Rajya Sabha polls. The Congress fielded party veteran Digvijaya Singh and Dalit leader Phool Singh Baraiya for the crucial elections.
