J&K: About 1,32,841 residents evacuated from other parts of country

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Territory Administration has so far evacuated about 1,32,841 residents, stranded in other parts of the country due to COVID-19 lockdown, via Lakhanpur through fleet of buses and Shramik Special trains amid strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs.
 
AIR Jammu correspondent reports that the UT Administration has received 51 special trains at Jammu and Udhampur Railway Stations from different states and UTs, till date, with about 40,266 stranded passengers while about 92,575 persons have been evacuated through Lakhanpur via road.
