Inter-Ministerial Central Team members meet Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy

In Chennai, the Inter-Ministerial Central Team members met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy at the Secretariat today. The five-member team is being led by the National Disaster Management Authority Additional Secretary Dr Thiruppugazh. They have visited several facilities in the city to contain the COVID-19 spread and inspected the relief activities for the past three days. They are reported to have shared their observations with the chief minister during the meeting this afternoon. The team members later had a detailed discussion with the Secretaries of the Health and Food Departments. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu has recorded 52 new cases of COVID-19 today, while 81 others discharged from hospitals.
