Govt closely monitoring cyclone Amphan: Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Government is closely monitoring the cyclone Amphan and are in continuous touch with concerned authorities. Mr Shah also spoke to Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over situation arising due to the cyclone and assured all possible help from centre.

The Home Minister said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is committed for the safety and security of every citizen. He said, NDRF teams are already on ground to help people in need. He urged people of West Bengal and Odisha to stay indoor and follow instructions. He prayed for everyone’s safety and well being.
