Ensure strict, immediate action in cases related to crime against women & girls in state: UP CM Yogi Adityanath to officials

In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked to ensure strict and immediate action in cases related to crime against women and girls in the state. Taking cognizance of such incidents in Agra, Chitrakut and Pratapgarh districts Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that in such kind of crimes senior officials must visit the spot and complete the investigation related formality immediately.

Yogi Adityanath said that senior officials must take care of the families of victims and provide immediate help to them. If there is any need of security then the families must be given security immediately. He also asked to take immediate cognizance of those cases who are related with women and girls in general and particularly in crime against women and children of scheduled caste. These cases should be put in Fastrack and pocso courts and justice must be insured.

Taking cognizance of the acid attack on three girls in Gonda district, Chief Minister has asked police officials to take strict action against the culprits. The main accused in this case has been arrested by police in an encounter yesterday.
