Electioneering picks pace in Arunachal Pradesh

Electioneering is picking pace in Arunachal Pradesh as maximum number of candidates will file their nomination tomorrow, the last day for filing nomination. Elections for two Lok Sabha seats and 60 assembly seats in the state are scheduled in the first phase on 11th April.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made in the state to assure free and fair elections. The IG Police and State Nodal Officer for Election Security Sunil Garg said, more than 600 polling booths have been identified as critical in the state. He said, static cameras are being installed in different polling areas.
