EC asks Delhi Police to take action against misleading phone calls about deletion of voters in electoral rolls

The Election Commission(EC) has asked Delhi Police to take necessary action against those making misleading phone calls to people about the city's electoral rolls. 

Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer Ranbir Singh had on Saturday cautioned people about such calls claiming deletion of their names from electoral rolls. 

His statement comes a day after a BJP delegation met the Chief Election Commissioner and alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party  has been making such phone calls.
