Country is built by people and people are built by teachers: Javadekar

Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that teachers' role is that of a nation builder and they must work with passion and vision.

Speaking at the valedictory session of the two-day national conference of Principals of Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in New Delhi today, Mr Javadekar said there is a joy in teaching. 

He said only those people should become teachers whose first choice is the teaching profession.

He said country is built by people and people are built by teachers. One thousand and 800 principals of these schools are participating in the conference.
