CPI(M) asks centre to declare cyclone Amphan a national calamity

The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) has demanded that central government must declare cyclone Amphan, a national calamity. In a statement, CPI(M) said, cyclone Amphan has caused devastating damage in West Bengal and Odisha. The party said, people in both the states urgently need support and solidarity of the governments and people of the country.
