CEC expresses gratitude to all electors who voted in Lok Sabha polls

Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora has expressed his gratitude to all the electors who voted in the Lok Sabha election especially senior citizens, women, divyangjan, all political parties and other stakeholders.

In a statement, the CEC also expressed gratitude to the two Election Commissioners, Deputy Election Commissioners and other officials of the poll body.

He also thanked all Chief Electoral Officers and all observers among others. Mr Arora said, barring some odd incidents, the elections passed peacefully and were conducted in free, fair, robust and ethical manner.

He added that he is grateful to both print and electronic media as media plays a very significant role during elections.
