In Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb inaugurated the ‘AngiKaar’ campaign for the state in a formal function held at the city’s town hall today.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minster said, besides reaching the central government schemes to the marginalized sections of the society in the state, the state government has been implementing state’s own schemes and plans giving priority on socio-economic development in the state.

He said, with the state’s target of making 26 lakh Ayushman Bharat cards by March 2020, at least 71 percent of Tripura’s population will be benefited under the health scheme.

The objective of the ‘AngiKaar’ campaign is to bring the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY-U) under one fold of other central government implemented scheme.
