BJP President J P Nadda terms Congress President Sonia Gandhi's remarks on lockdown as insensitive

@JPNadda
BJP President J P Nadda has termed Congress President Sonia Gandhi's remarks on lockdown as insensitive. In a series of tweets, Mr Nadda said, this is not the time for politics but to serve the country unitedly.

Earlier, while addressing Congress Working Committee meeting, Ms Gandhi said, the 21-day lockdown may have been necessary but the unplanned manner in which it has been implemented has caused pain in the lives of millions of migrant workers all over India. She, however, extended her party's full support in fight against COVID-19.

The BJP President said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking along all state governments to fight Coronavirus and the Congress should play responsible role in this difficult time. Mr Nadda added that entire world is praising India's efforts under the leadership of Mr Modi.
