@PemaKhanduBJP
In Arunachal Pradesh Indian Air Force have successfully rescued 19 people stranded on an island in the Siang River in East Siang District today morning.

East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tamio Tatak informed that a marginal rise in the water level has been noticed in the river but there is nothing to be panicked. He also said that the abnormal rise in the water may be due to siltation in the river bed.

The water level in the river is reported to be normal this morning and is flowing below the danger mark. The number of affected people along the river is not yet known.

Earlier due to the raise in the water level in the Siang River, East Siang District administration had to issue warning notice to the people residing in the low laying areas.
