Army Chief General MM Naravane visits forward areas in Eastern Ladakh

Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane visited forward areas in Eastern Ladakh today.

On the second day of his visit to Ladakh, General Naravane reviewed the operational situation in the Sector.

AIR correspondent reports, after the Galwan stand-off, for the first time the Army Chief General MM Naravane has visited forward areas near Line of Actual Control in the Eastern Ladakh region.

At the ground zero he was briefed by the Trishul Division General Officer Commanding, about the prevailing situation and operational preparedness.

Later, General Naravane interacted with the troops deployed in the Sector and complimented them for their steadfastness and high morale.

He was accompanied by General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Northern Command Lieutenant General YK Joshi and Fire & Fury Corps, General Officer Commanding Lieutenant General Harinder Singh.

In the afternoon on his return to Leh, General MM Naravane and Lieutenant General YK Joshi have visited Fire & Fury Corps Headquarters, where the he was briefed by the Lieutenant General Harinder Singh.
