A multi-party delegation of Congress, TDP, AAP meet EC over WB issue

A multi-party delegation consisting of Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Rajeev Shukla of the Congress, K Rama Mohana Rao, CM Ramesh of TDP and Sanjay Singh of the AAP today met the Election Commission over the West Bengal issue.

Talking to media after meeting the Election Commission, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said the delegation had met the EC over ending election campaign in West Bengal 20 hours early.

Mr Singhvi said BJP should be held responsible for the violence in West Bengal. Mr Singhvi also demanded the transfer of Raibareli SP for what he called favouring the BJP candidate there.
