31,636 non-bailable warrants issued in MP after model code of conduct comes into effect

In Madhya Pradesh, since the model code of conduct has come into effect, 31 thousand 636 non-bailable warrants have been issued so far to ensure law and order in the state.

During this period 2 thousand 934 illegal firearms have been confiscated and 2 lakh 53 thousand 560 firearms have been deposited at different police stations of the state. 

According to an official release, under the property defacement, total 16 lakh 21 thousand 220 cases have been registered and out of this action has been taken in 15 lakh 68 thousand 592 cases. A total of 10 thousand 675 cases of misuse of vehicles have been registered during this period.
