218 Indians stranded in coronavirus-hit Italy arrive in India this morning from Milan

A total of 218 Indians, including 211 students, stranded in coronavirus-hit Italy arrived in India this morning onboard an Air India flight from Milan. Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan said all of them will be quarantined for two weeks.

They were taken to the ITBP quarantine facility at Chhawla camp in the national capital. The Minister said the Union Government is committed to reach out to Indians in distress wherever they are. Mr Muraleedharan thanked the Italian government for its support and appreciated the efforts of Air India.
