2 COVID-19 positive cases identified in Puducherry

In Puducherry, two COVID-19 positive cases have been identified today. According to Puducherry Health Director Dr. Mohan Kumar, they belong to Ariyankuppam residential area quarantined in Government Chest Hospital and their samples have been sent to Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research for further investigation.

The officials said, these patients had attended the Nizamuddin Markaz meeting in Delhi earlier last month and returned to Puducherry a few days ago. Police have cordoned the whole area and people are not allowed to cross Puducherry-Cuddalore highway. Further investigation is going on.
