14,421 healthcare workers register for 1st phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive in Mizoram

In Mizoram, 14,421 healthcare workers have registered for the first phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive. Of the total health workers, 14,107 are State health workers and 314 are central healthcare workers.
 
State Health Secretary H Lalengmawia, who is also the chairman of the State Task Force for COVID-19 vaccination said that the State government is fully prepared for the first phase of the vaccination drive to begin on the 16th of this month. The State already imparted training to health workers at state, district and block levels for the vaccination.
