MP: Additional 36,000 metric ton urea, 24,000 metric ton DAP distributed to farmers

In Madhya Pradesh, additional 36 thousand metric ton urea and 24 thousand metric ton DAP have been distributed to farmers this year from October to December in comparison to the last year. A total of 7 lakh 18 thousand metric ton urea has been distributed to the farmers in the state till now.

Chief Minister Kamal Nath also gave instructions to officers during a review meeting that farmers should not face shortage of fertilizer.

The Chief Minister held discussions with the Union Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal and Union Minister of Fertilizer and Chemicals Sadanand Gowda over phone and urged them to allot racks of urea to Madhya Pradesh on priority.
