Lok Sabha adjourned till 12 Noon amidst protest by opposition members demanding discussion on Delhi Violence

Lok Sabha has adjourned today till 12 Noon amidst protest by opposition members who were demanding discussion on Delhi Violence. Immediately after the house assembled for the day, opposition members from Congress, TMC, DMK, SP, BSP and left parties rushed to the well of the house demanding discussion.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that the government is ready to discuss on the subject on 11th April after Holi. Opposition members did not accept it and continued to raise slogans. Presiding Officer’s efforts to pacify the opposition members and to run the house did not succeed.
