Delhi Police transfers North-East Delhi violence probe to Crime Branch

Delhi Police has transfered the North-East Delhi violence probe to the Crime Branch and formed two Special Investigation Teams (SITs) for comprehensive and effective investigation.

The first of these SITs will be headed by Deputy Commissioner of Police Joy Tirkey and the other one by DCP Rajesh Deo. Every SIT will have four Assistant Commissioners of Police.

Every team under the ACP will consist of three inspectors, four sub-inspectors and three Head Constables and Constables.

Additional Commissioner of Police BK Singh will supervise the work of both the SITs.
