COVID-19 situation under control in Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said the COVID-19 situation is improving in Delhi and the situation is under control. However, he reiterated that there is no room for complacency at this stage.
 
Addressing the media in New Delhi, Mr Kejriwal said, when the lockdown was relaxed, it was predicted that caseload will increase. He said, sufficient arrangements were made to restrict the growing cases by increasing bed and testing capacities. He said, 15 thousand beds have been arranged for the COVID patients and the testing capacities have been ramped up significantly.
 
He said, the recovery rate is continuously improving in the National Capital and it reached to around 67 per cent. He said, more than 58 thousand people have recovered so far. He said, this virus is unpredictable and we must continue our efforts with more vigour.
