BPPI contributes Rs 25 Lakh to PM-CARES fund

Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India, BPPI Under the Department of Pharmaceuticals has contributed 25 Lakh rupees to PM-CARES fund to support government in its fight against COVID-19.

Chemical and Fertilizers Ministry has said, the amount was contributed by employees of BPPI and owners and distributors of Jan aushadhi Kendras.

The Kendras working under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana have been rendering essential services to the nation. BPPI has provided about six lakh face masks, 50 lakh tablets of Hydroxychloroquine in the months of March and April this year.
