BJP President J P Nadda asks Congress not to play politics over Ladakh standoff with China

BJP President J P Nadda has hit back former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the Congress for criticizing the government on Ladakh standoff. In a series of  tweets, Mr Nadda accused the Congress of insulting Indian forces repeatedly and questioning their valour. He alleged that Dr Singh did this post the air strikes and surgical strikes. He urged them to understand the true meaning of national unity, especially in such times.
Mr Nadda said, Dr Manmohan Singh's comments on Ladakh are merely wordplay and conduct of top Congress leaders will not make any Indian believe such statements. He alleged that Dr Singh was not as worried when he abjectly surrendered hundreds of square kilometres of India's land to China during his tenure. The BJP President said, India fully trusts and supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said, 130 crore Indians have seen his administrative experience in some of the most testing times and how he has always put the well-being of the nation over and above everything else. He said, Dr Manmohan Singh can certainly share his wisdom on many subjects but the responsibilities of the office of the Prime Minister is not one of them. He alleged that UPA personified systematic institutional erosion of that office, combined with disrespect for the armed forces and NDA Government has reversed that.
