Uttar Pradesh CM orders to invoke NSA against engineer & contractor responsible in Muradnagar roof collapse case

In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered to invoke National Security Act, NSA against the engineer and contractor responsible for the Muradnagar roof collapse case.

He has also directed to blacklist the contractor and impose penalty on him of whatever damage has been done in the incident. The Chief Minister had already sought a report on the incident from the Divisional Commissioner of Meerut and ADG Meerut Zone. He also announced today to provide ex-gratia of 10 lakh rupees each to the families of deceased and provide housing facility to those families who are homeless.

Meanwhile, Ajay Tyagi, the contractor responsible for the construction of the gallery of the crematorium at Muradnagar in Ghaziabad district has been arrested by police yesterday night.

Twenty five people lost their lives in the incident and 13 were injured.
