Eight suspended MPs still protesting in Parliament’s premises over suspension from Rajya Sabha

Eight suspended MPs are still protesting in the Parliament’s premises over their suspension from the Rajya Sabha. The protesting MPs from Congress, CPI (M), TMC and Aam Adami Party continued their protest the entire night.

In the morning, Deputy Chairman Harivansh met with the protesting members and offered them tea.
 
Yesterday, eight Rajya Sabha members were suspended from the Upper House for one week for their unruly behavior with the Deputy Chairman Harivansh during the passage of two farmers' Bills.

They were Congress members Rajiv Satav, Ripun Bora and Nazeer Hussain, TMC members Derek O’Brien and Dola Sen, CPI(M) members K.K. Ragesh and Elamaram Kareem and Aam Adami Party member Sanjay Singh.
