Decision to auction 41 coal mines for commercial mining will make India self-reliant in energy sector: Amit Shah

@AmitShah
Home Minister Amit Shah has said that flagging off the process to auction 41 coal mines for commercial mining by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in line with the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat'. He said, this historic decision will make India self-reliant in the energy sector by introducing competition and boosting coal production.

In a series of tweets, Mr Shah said, this decision will ensure transparency in the mine allocation process and it reiterates Modi government’s commitment towards building a prosperous, corruption-free and self-reliant India. He said, this step will create more than 2.8 lakh jobs, attract capital investment worth 33 thousand crore rupees and generate annual revenue of 20 thousand crore rupees for the state governments.
