PM Modi expresses grief over passing away of former BJP MP Dr Nepal Singh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over passing away of former BJP MP Dr Nepal Singh. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, he is anguished by the demise of the former MP.

Mr Modi said, he would be remembered for his numerous community service efforts. He added that Dr Nepal Singh had played a key role in strengthening the BJP in Uttar Pradesh.

 
Former Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Minister and former BJP MP Dr. Nepal Singh passed away due to heart attack in Moradabad yesterday.  He was the Member of Lok Sabha from Rampur seat of Uttar Pradesh as Bhartiya Janata Party Candidate.
 
He was elected five times as Member of the State Legislative Council elected from Bareilly-Moradabad Division Graduates' constituency. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP State Chief Swatantra Dev Singh offered their condolences on the death of the senior leader.
